Kale Storage Tips

Refrigerator: You can store a fresh bunch or bunches of kale in the fridge’s crisper drawer. Before storing, wipe away excess moisture, wrap the kale leaves in a paper towel, and place them in a plastic bag. Kale bunches will last a week in the fridge.

Freezer: You can freeze kale without blanching.

Mint storage tips

  1. Rinse mint and pat dry.
  2. Wrap the mint leaves in moistened paper towels (not too wet, just moist).
  3. Place the wrapped mint in a zip-top bag, but don’t seal it. Sealing it could lock in too much moisture.
  4. Store the mint in the refrigerator.

You can freeze mint leaves to preserve flavor using the ice cube method if you plan to keep mint long-term. Remove the mint leaves from the stems and place the leaves in an ice cube tray. Pour water over the tray, then place the tray in the freezer.

Rosemary storage tips

To store it in bags, lay the sprigs side-by-side on a damp (not wet) paper towel then wrap them up and slide the packet into a zip-top bag. Remove as much air as possible, seal, and lay it to rest in your crisper drawer (the same one you use for lettuce). You can also use a sealed storage container instead of a bag. Will last for 10-14 days.
