About our produce

We use only organic methods to build our soil and increase the nutrients in our produce. We use permaculture principals, the Back to Eden method of deep mulch, cover cropping, inter-cropping, no till, companion planting, and compost to build our soil. Beyond anything else, we are dirt farmers. We truly believe that good healthy dirt builds good healthy plants.

Our crops are mostly perennials. This disturbs the soil even less. We are growing blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, muscadines, asparagus, artichokes, strawberries, and Egyptian walking onions. But, mostly, we are growing elderberries and figs. We do also grow annual vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, etc), between and around the perennials.
