Spring ducklings
We decided to add just a few more ducklings to our flock. We’ve enjoyed having an assortment, so we decided to get one each of three kinds of ducks we did not have already. Hallon (Raspberry) is a Fawn and White Runner, Björnbär (Blackberry) is a Black Runner, and Blåbär (Blueberry) is a Blue Swedish.
They’re going to stay in the brooder for about 3 weeks, after which we’ll slowly introduce them to our other waterfowl. They will grow up with lots of space to play, and fresh grass, weeds, and bugs to eat.
